Me too its probably the only thing really worth paying for.

I probably would think twice buying the 2nd map pack. Each map on the first one seems to favor some game types more than others. I also think the map that they try to cater to sniper gamers which is Discovery is the least favorite on First Strike.

problem is that discovery is too small and has very little sniping spots to actually work fully what they should do is make a new game type with huge ass maps 2x the size or more and then make it ground war and 12 team S&D Domi CTF and Demo. with room for all types of classes

and that is again why im looking forward to battlefield 3 more then anything!

i would agree with you jj in the size of the maps, but the problem is cod players want close quarters maps, a lot of gun fire and kill here, kill there, behind you people spawning in your ass. and the large maps tend to get voted off discovery isn't a bad map for snipers its just nobody votes for it. they want nuketown and firing range because its close and personal. That is why I am also exited for battlefield 3, maps that will allow you to fly aircrafts thats cool, destructible enviroments. sign me up

no no dont get me wrong i love the close up maps.

but when you make a map intended to be usefull for snipers, in my oppinion discpovery is too small its the right amount open, so everyone can play, but its not long and wide enough, i can get a headshot at the far end easy and still get nailed by a guy 3 meters from my position, to me its just a half hearted atempt of a path they dont even wanna follow, that movie you åosted got me sick to my stomach about how much they f''ken suck up to those whiney a'' campers: YAY!! we made a map with an elevator if you can camp that your garanteed to win, YAY! we made a rail you can walk all through the map, and if your not being camped from the groundd you can camp yourself!!! but wait there's more!!!.... bulls''t

A lot of these problems have to do with weapon balance. They're not very balance, and if your a sniper you can't do your thing because the enemy is rushing your spawn and spawn killing there's no wayway you can create a space between you and him. Therefore quickscoping. And its crap for a rifle to nail my ass across the map and I get a hit marker. Most rifles would struggle with those distances, hence the sniper but they're just not balance. And I don't get the sniper running around as if he had a mpl on his hand. Cmon man cod ain't meant to be realistic but don't push it.

im just saying it worked with MW 2 and if they cant keep the standard or become even better they loose me as a fan and im almost possitive i will when BF 3 comes out

Mw2 and. Mw. Were infinity Ward. They're the ones that gave activision he key to mmake money. After cod 4 its been the same thing with little changes from game to game, its been their recipe
New game evryyear. 60$ then 2 dlc. 30$ they get at least 90$ dollars out of us. And no other fps has been able to compete with cod, some of the blame its on us we keep buying the same product over and over and over again. I like cod but really hope battlefield. 3 kicks cod ass. And every cod fan should too. Then maybe activision will really start to work on something worth buying the next great cod title, because quite honestly I doubt mw3 will be much different

i just hope they fix the knife in BF 3 XD Ive hated BF 2 for it being so basic that you have to stand 1 inch from your nenemy and have to stab directly, not a centimeter to low or too high on the enemy XD
